CONGRATULATIONS

 

Congratulations to the 17′s Tsunami Black and 15′s Tsunami Black for winning their pools this past weekend!

17′s Tsunami Black are Coached by Noah Hall and 15′s Tsunami Black by Kim Adams.

The 17′s dominated their pool with tough serving by Shiloe Parsons, Simone Gillberg and Megan Wing. Followed by consistent passing from both the libero Ryanne Giorgione and Defensive Specialist Ashley Harbin. Coach Noah said, ” It was a complete team effort and the girls came together nicely. It was really fun to see them playing tough, consistent volleyball.”

The 15′s survived an 11 point defecit to come back and win their game 25-23 versus Chanel Islands. Coach Kim was extremely proud of the girls stating, ” Each Athlete was focused on what their role was and really supported each other for the entire tournament.” She noted communication as the number one reason the 15′s swept their pool paired with big plays from Claire Helmress (OPP), Megan Turley (OH) and Cassidy Wiley (OH).

17′s Tsunami Black Headed to the Las Vegas Classic Feb. 17th to Feb. 20th

Good luck to Coach Noah’s 17 team as they head to Las Vegas for an action packed weekend of Volleyball. Teams from all over the United States participate in this tournament. On the first day of play Tsunami will compete against teams from Washington, Hawai’i and North Carolina. The Las Vegas Classic is an opportunity for older teams ( 17′s and 18′s) to get exposed to college coaches from Division 1 to NAIA schools.

Good luck to Shiloe Parsons, Taylor Moran, Ka’iwi Schucht, and Maddy Waitley on attending the Las Vegas Showcase. The Showcase takes place on Friday the 17th and gives atheltes an extra opportunity to play infront of College Coaches. Good Luck girls… play hard!!
